National Pheasant Fest 2011: Omaha, NE January 28-30, 2011
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have announced that the organization's premiere event, National Pheasant Fest, will be returning to Omaha, NE, in 2011.
"We're excited to bring National Pheasant Fest back to Nebraska." said Howard Vincent, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever President and CEO.
More details of the 2011 Pheasant Fest will be unveiled on the site as they develop. We hope to see you in Omaha next January!

Canadians Claim Pheasants Forever's Gold Membership Medal
Feb-28-2010 - The Calgary, Canada, Pheasants Forever chapter is the recipient of the organization's 2009 Chapter Membership Award for hosting Pheasants Forever's largest membership banquet during the past year. The chapter's nearly 500-member strong banquet was recognized at Pheasants Forever's National Pheasant Fest 2010 Banquet in Des Moines.

National Pheasant Fest Draws 20,230 to Des Moines; Heading to Omaha in '11
Feb-28-2010 - Pheasants Forever's National Pheasant Fest wrapped up today after drawing 20,230 attendees to the Iowa Events Center. The highlight of the event came on Saturday afternoon when U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced a new Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) general signup and the reallocation of 300,000 acres into three popular wildlife practices within CRP.

USDA Secretary Delivers Welcome CRP News to Pheasants, Quail, and Hunters
Feb-27-2010 - Today at Pheasants Forever’s National Pheasant Fest, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced plans for a new Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) general signup. Secretary Vilsack also announced increased acreage allotments for three CRP practices significant to wildlife, and then signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pheasants Forever.

PF Passes 1 Million Acre Mark in Iowa
Feb-24-2010 - Pheasants Forever announces the completion of 1 million acres of habitat accomplishments in Iowa since the first Iowa chapter formed in 1984. With Pheasants Forever's marquee event, National Pheasant Fest 2010, in Des Moines this weekend, "PF" members and sponsors will celebrate the 1,000,000 acres of habitat work accomplished by Pheasants Forever in the state. National Pheasant Fest is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

Bird Dog Parade Licks and Kicks Off National Pheasant Fest
Feb-22-2010 - Pheasants Forever kicks off its largest event, National Pheasant Fest 2010, in grand fashion with a "Bird Dog Parade." Over 1,000 dog enthusiasts are expected in attendance as 35-40 different sporting dog breeds (70-80 dogs in total) and their owners open the show on Friday, February 26. The "Bird Dog Parade" will be led by Grand Marshal Bryan Karrick of NewsChannel 8 in Des Moines, and Chase, his black lab.
